Money

1. Can I transfer all my data from Microsoft Money to Jumsoft’s Money?
Yes, you can do it using the QIF format.

2. Can Money import Quicken data, accounts, etc.?
Yes, Money 3 can import QIF, OFX, QFX, and CSV data files.

3. Where does Money store its data files?
Money saves its data files in the following folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Money/ .

4. Can I set up more than one user in Money?
No, currently Money allows only one user profile, but we plan to expand this option in the future.

5. How do I create backup for Money data?
First, enable backup: Money -> Preferences -> Backup -> Enable Backup. You can choose to do MobileMe backup or save the data to your hard disk. Then, click File -> Backup, and your data will be saved in the directory that you chose in the first step.

6. Can I transfer Money from my desktop to my laptop with the license?
First of all, we suggest you create backup for your data (see answer to previous question). Then, you need to copy (or move) 3 files to your new computer:
1. The Money application is the application you launch. You can copy it from your old computer, or download the latest version from here.
2. Money preferences file is available at: ~/Library/Preferences/com.jumsoft.money3.plist. Copy this file to the same location on your new computer: ~/Library/Preferences/.
3. Money data file. If you want to move all your Money data from one computer to another, you should copy contents of the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Money/. If you have not yet launched Money in your new computer, there will be no folder ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Money/, so you should create it manually or launch Money first and this folder will be created automatically.

7. If I am a Money X user, can I upgrade for free?
The Money 3.X upgrade is only $19 for Money 2.X users.

8. Is Money available in language other than English?
Money 3 is available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Russian. Money 2 is available in English only.

9. Why doesn‘t Money 3 work on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger?
Money 3 uses Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard-based technologies that are not supported by Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
An earlier Money version (2.5) is available for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. You can download it here .

10. How can I sync the desktop and iPhone Money versions?
1. Switch both your Mac and your iPhone into Wi-Fi mode.
2. On your iPhone, go to the Settings panel.
3. Select Sync > Set New Library. A four-digit code will appear on the screen.
4. On your desktop version of Money, click on the name of your iPhone in the Devices group that will have appeared in the Listbar.
5. Type in the iPhone Library code in the blank field that appears.
6. Once the link between the two devices has been established, select Sync on your desktop version of Money to transfer data to your iPhone.

Note: All data (accounts, transactions, bills, payees, categories, and securities) is synced between the iPhone and desktop Money applications. Therefore, if you delete an account from the iPhone, it will also be deleted from your computer when you next synchronize the two.

Process

11. How do I create an unlimited number of documents in Process 3?
Process 3 is no longer document-based, so the documents cannot be edited. You can only import/export projects to Process 3 files.

12. What are the differences between Process and Operation?
There are some similarities. Operation is good for tasks only, whereas Process is more powerful and better for tasks and planning jobs, in other words, for projects. Moreover, with Process, you are able to share resources with others on the network, and it also has a feature that allows syncing with iCal.

13. If I am a Process X user, can I upgrade it for free?
Yes, Process 3 is a free upgrade for Process 2 users.

Relationship

14. I have lost the password for one group. What can I do?
You cannot remove the password yourself. You can send us your data file, and we will remove the undesirable password and send it back to you. The data file is stored in the following folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Relationship/.

15. Do we need a server to work with Relationship?
Relationship doesn't need a server. It can run on any computer with OSX installed. All data is saved on your computer.

16. Can I have multiple users in Relationship?
Relationship stores its data in the user directory, so it allows only one user per OSX account. But if you have several computers on your local network, you can share data between computers. When one computer shares a group of contacts (it acts like a server for that group), the other computers see copies of that group (when the computer that shares a group is online) and can edit it. Changes made on one computer are processed on others as well, so all computers see the same data.

Pages Templates

17. Why can‘t I see the new Pages Templates in the Pages Templates Menu after the installation?
Make sure that Apple Pages is installed in the folder Applications -> iWork 'XX. Otherwise, you may encounter problems of this kind.

18. Can Pages Templates be exported to MS Word or PDF documents?
Yes, Pages can be exported to Word and PDF documents.

19. Can I change a page layout from portrait to landscape?
You can change page layout (File -> Page Setup); however, our template content (background, textboxes) have a fixed width and length, so if you change a page layout from portrait to landscape, you will have a white space on the right side. (Of course, you can edit it and then add text and images.)

20. What are the differences between Pages Templates and Pages Templates Pro?
Pages Templates Pro was designed for business purposes and maintains the same style in every template layout, such as memo, invoice, letter, business card, etc. Pages Templates does not feature a uniform style and has more variety since it was created for wider use.

21. Is it possible to replace the text, photographic images, or clipart with some of my own?
Our templates, as with any other template, offer a layout with text and images. You can change that text, add and remove text boxes, and change the font if you wish. You can also replace selected images, photographs, and clipart with your own.

22. I have considerably fewer templates than what was listed on your website. What's wrong?
Each Page Template has different layouts. You can add a new layout by choosing Insert->Sections.

23. I purchased Pages Templates, but it would not download. What should I do?
Empty your cache in your Web Browser. You can do it in Safari from the menu Safari -> Empty Cache...

24. What are the sizes of your brochures?
There are several sizes for unfolded brochures:
- US Letter (216 × 279 mm / 8½ by 11 in.)
- DL Envelope (110 x 220 mm / 4¼ by 8¾ in.)
- A4 (210 x 297 mm / 8¼ x 11¾ in.)
- A5 (148 × 210 mm / 5¼ x 8¼ in.)
- Other (100 x 210 mm / 4 x 8¼ in.; 431.8 x 279.4 mm / 17 x 11 in.)
You can see the size of a selected brochure by clicking File -> Page Setup and checking Paper Size.

25. What are the categories of Pages Templates?

26. Are the templates professional print-ready?
Professional print requires image resolution of 300 dpi and special marks, which are not supported by Pages. Therefore, your documents need to be converted into professional printer formats for this purpose.

27. How do I uninstall Pages Templates?
Go to Applications -> iWork 'XX. Right-click on Pages or select Control ^-click with the mouse for the contextual menu, and choose "Show Package Contents". Then go to Contents -> Resources -> Templates and remove all folders noted as “Jumsoft ...” that you don’t need.

Keynote Themes

28. What is the difference between Keynote Themes FX and Keynote Backgrounds FX?
Keynote Backgrounds includes backgrounds for slides, while Keynote Themes provides ready-made slides with several different layouts. A user only needs to add text and/or images to it.

29. What is the difference between Keynote Themes and Keynote Themes FX?
They feature different designs, but the main difference is that the FX includes motion themes. Please note that a faster Mac is recommended for them.

30. How do I uninstall Keynote Themes?
Go to Library -> Application Support -> iWork -> Keynote -> Themes and remove all folders noted as “Jumsoft ...” that you don’t need.

iWeb Themes

31. The default text at the top of the template has to be manually updated for each entry on the blog. Is it possible to eliminate this process?
Our iWeb themes are defaults. They give a design and some default text, and you should change it to the text that you need. Our iWeb Themes Developer attempted to make it capable of applying a name to all pages but couldn't find a way to do it. The only solution we can suggest is duplicating an existing blog entry in later posts.

32. Is it possible to change images or colors of the background to some of my own in iWeb Themes?
The background is created from images, so the only way to change it is to edit those images manually.

33. Can I use Keynote Stills or Pages clipart with iWeb?
Sure, you can also use them with iWeb.

34. How do I uninstall iWeb Themes?
Go to "Applications" folder. Right-click on iWeb or select Control ^-click with the mouse for the contextual menu, and choose "Show Package Contents". Then go to Contents -> Resources -> Themes and remove themes that you don’t need.

Mail Stationery

35. How do I install and use Mail Stationery?
Double-click the Stationery Pack: the installer will lead you through the process. Once installation is complete - launch Apple Mail, and in the New Message window, click Show Stationery. If you cannot see the new stationery, restart your Mail.

36. How do I uninstall Mail Stationery?
Go to Library -> Application Support -> Apple -> Mail -> Stationery and remove all folders noted as “Jumsoft ...” that you don’t need.

Aperture Themes

37. How do I install and use Aperture Themes?
Double-click the package Installer: the installer will lead you through the process. Once installation is complete - launch Aperture and choose a theme in Aperture’s Web themes menu to enhance your Web page or journal gallery.

38. How do I uninstall Aperture Themes?
Go to "Applications" folder. right-click on Aperture or select Control ^-click with the mouse for the contextual menu, and choose Show Package Contents. Then go to Contents -> Resources -> WebThemes and remove all folders noted as “Jumsoft ...” that you don’t need.

42. Why can‘t I download your product?
Please check that you entered your license number correctly, with no spaces or other symbols before or after it. In addition, if you entered the serial number manually instead of by the copy/paste method, check that you entered zero, and not the letter O.

43. Can you create custom themes?
Yes, we create custom themes. Contact us by e-mail, give us a detailed description of what you need, and we will quote you a price depending on the work hours that your request would take.

44. What methods of payment does the Jumsoft store support?
We use the Esellerate e-commerce system. Esellerate provides transactions for all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and ICB as well as Active Paypal accounts. We currently do not accept payment by check, purchase order, cash, or money order.
