  6. Hi,

I recently switched to a Mac and have been looking for a program to replace Microsoft Money (which I still use under XP on my Mac). Will Money3 work for me? Specifically, I’m looking for the following features:
-Importing of MS Money QIF files
-Tracking of investment accounts (including designation of accounts as taxable vs. 401K, etc)., automatic updating of prices of stocks and options, and tracking of tax bases of stock and mutual fund purchases and sales
-Tracking of mortgage loan balances (including computation of interest/principal and prepayments)

  7. Any word on the status of the PowerPC “fix” for Money 3. The program is “workable”, however is is like working with one hand tied behind your back.

It is an excellent program, and seems to be just what I am looking for, since I did upgrade immediately, only to find this small “glitch”

  8. KPOM,

    - Money can import QIF files
    - There is one type investment account, you can download quotes when you want to do this. However taxes isn’t yet implemented in Money.
    - Yes, you can track your loan balances. Money calculates interests and prepayments.

There is 15 days free trial period, so you can download Money and have a look at it yourself.

    William,

We are currently working on the problems with powerpc computers and we hope to release update tomorrow.

  9. Hi Martynas,

Just wondering if you have any estimate of a timeframe for an iPhone version of Money? Also, is it likely to have sync capabilities with the desktop version?

    Thanks,
